Talentfoot Executive Search is partnering with a rapidly growing eCommerce company in the gifting space. We are seeking a highly analytical and creative Senior Performance Marketing Manager to own and scale the paid acquisition engine. This role will be responsible for managing a multi-million dollar media budget, optimizing performance across channels, and driving efficient, scalable growth for the business.
You’ll sit at the intersection of data, creative, and strategy—working closely with our in-house team and agency partners to continuously test, learn, and improve performance. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, understands the nuances of seasonal demand, and knows how to turn insights into revenue.
Responsibilities
Own Paid Media Strategy & Execution:
Manage and optimize an $8–10M annual advertising budget across platforms including Meta, Google, AppLovin, Pinterest, and Bing.
Drive Efficient Growth:
Continuously improve performance across key metrics including CAC, MER, ROAS, and LTV while scaling revenue and maintaining efficiency.
Channel Optimization:
Develop tailored strategies for each advertising channel, understanding the unique role each plays in the funnel and how they work together.
Creative Strategy & Development:
Partner closely with the creative team to concept, test, and iterate on high-performing ad creative. Guide the development of channel-specific assets that drive engagement and conversion.
Testing & Experimentation:
Build and execute a robust test-and-learn roadmap across audiences, creatives, offers, and landing pages to unlock incremental growth.
Seasonal Planning & Execution:
Lead performance marketing strategy around key seasonal moments, ensuring campaigns are optimized for peak demand periods.
Data Analysis & Reporting:
Analyze performance daily, weekly, and monthly to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and make data-driven decisions. Clearly communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
Subscription & LTV Optimization:
Understand and optimize subscription and retention metrics, working to improve customer lifetime value and long-term profitability.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with eCommerce, creative, analytics, and development teams to align on goals, share insights, and execute growth initiatives.
Agency & Partner Management:
Collaborate with external partners as needed to support execution, strategy, and scaling efforts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in performance marketing, ideally within a DTC or eCommerce brand
- Proven experience managing and scaling multi-million dollar paid media budgets
- Deep expertise across platforms including Meta, Google, and other paid acquisition channels
- Strong understanding of creative strategy and its impact on performance
- Experience working in highly seasonal businesses is a plus
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies
- Strong understanding of subscription economics and LTV optimization
- Highly collaborative, with experience working cross-functionally with creative, analytics, and product teams
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a bias for action
