Our client, Graham & Associates, is seeking an experienced project controls professional to support a major Capital Improvement Program (CIP) in Tucker, Georgia. The organization is focused on delivering complex infrastructure initiatives through disciplined project management, strong financial controls, and effective coordination across project stakeholders. As the program continues to advance, they are seeking a Senior Project Scheduler to provide critical scheduling, cost management, reporting, and PMIS support.


Position Overview

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Scheduler to play a key role in the project controls function of a major Capital Improvement Program. The Senior Project Scheduler will be responsible for developing and maintaining the CIP Master Program Schedule, supporting cost-loaded scheduling and budget management, monitoring schedule and cost performance, and providing accurate program-level reporting.

Working closely with project managers, consultants, contractors, and client representatives, this individual will help ensure project controls information is accurate, timely, and actionable. The role offers significant exposure to program-level scheduling, PMIS integration, cost management, and infrastructure project delivery.

Location: Tucker, GA

Salary: $125,000–$135,000 annually


Position Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update the CIP Master Program Schedule using Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Support project cost loading, budget tracking, and reconciliation of P6 cost data with Oracle financial systems.
  • Manage the program schedule baseline and budget change process.
  • Monitor schedule and cost performance, including critical path activities, variances, trends, and potential project risks.
  • Assist with monthly program progress reports, cash flow reports, variance reports, and ad hoc reporting.
  • Create and maintain PMIS dashboard reporting and support the integration of schedule and cost information.
  • Support PMIS administration, including project site management, user access, workflows, and data maintenance.
  • Assist with SharePoint administration, including project sites, security, user groups, and access permissions.
  • Develop and maintain program-level project controls procedures and support periodic updates to applicable procedures.
  • Provide cross-training and administrative support to the CIP Program Management Team as needed.
  • Collaborate with project managers, consultants, contractors, and client representatives to ensure accurate and timely project controls information.

Position Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in project scheduling, project controls, construction management, or a related field.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with cost-loaded schedules, baseline management, schedule updates, and schedule/cost variance analysis.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting a Capital Improvement Program or large-scale infrastructure program.
  • Experience with Oracle and SharePoint.
  • Experience with PMIS dashboards, cash flow reporting, cost forecasting, and schedule/cost integration.
  • Experience supporting municipal, transportation, water/wastewater, or other public infrastructure programs.
  • Experience working collaboratively with project managers, consultants, contractors, and public-sector stakeholders.
