Associate Creative Director

Our client is a market-leading apparel brand recognized for delivering high-quality products and a compelling customer experience across multiple channels. As the business continues to scale its creative organization, they are seeking an Associate Creative Director to help translate creative vision into actionable direction and ensure excellence across all marketing channels.

This is a senior creative leadership role responsible for turning high-level creative strategy into clear, executable direction across catalog, digital, email, web, photography, and campaign work. The Associate Creative Director will lead multidisciplinary teams, oversee both concept development and executional quality, and ensure all creative output aligns with brand standards and business objectives. This role blends strategic thinking, hands-on creative leadership, and team management, making it central to how campaigns are developed, delivered, and refined across the organization. It is an opportunity to influence both creative direction and day-to-day execution while leading and developing a team of creative professionals in a fast-paced retail environment.

Position Responsibilities

· Translate high-level creative strategy into themes, messaging frameworks, and actionable creative direction across campaigns and initiatives

· Convert direction from senior creative leadership into clear, executable roadmaps for multidisciplinary teams

· Lead development of seasonal campaigns, launch concepts, and key messaging across catalog, digital, email, and supporting channels

· Contribute directly to high-priority creative initiatives through concept development and hands-on execution

· Oversee and guide the work of Senior Art Directors, Art Directors, Designers, and Copywriters

· Manage workload distribution, priorities, and resourcing across creative teams

· Ensure consistency of messaging, visual identity, and brand standards across all creative outputs

· Provide strategic and executional feedback to elevate creative quality and effectiveness

· Review and approve layouts, concepts, presentations, and final deliverables for brand alignment and readiness

· Maintain alignment between creative intent and execution throughout all stages of project development

· Partner cross-functionally with marketing, merchandising, production, ecommerce, and studio teams

· Ensure all creative deliverables support broader business goals and campaign objectives

· Foster strong team performance through coaching, development, and performance management

· Identify opportunities to improve creative processes, collaboration, and workflow efficiency

· Stay actively engaged in creative review cycles to ensure high-quality output across all channels

Position Qualifications

Required:

· 7–9 years of progressive creative experience in agency, retail, or in-house brand environments

· Proven experience translating creative strategy into actionable direction across multi-channel campaigns

· Strong portfolio demonstrating campaign development, visual storytelling, and execution across print and digital

· Experience leading creative projects in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments

· Strong understanding of brand storytelling, messaging hierarchy, and campaign structure

· Demonstrated ability to guide and elevate multidisciplinary creative teams

· Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and standard creative workflow tools

Preferred:

· Experience directing integrated campaigns, seasonal launches, or multi-channel brand initiatives

· Experience managing or mentoring creative teams, including designers and copywriters

· Background in apparel, fashion, retail, or catalog environments

· Strong cross-functional collaboration experience with marketing, merchandising, and production teams

· Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

· Strong business acumen with the ability to balance creative vision and operational execution

· Highly organized with strong prioritization and decision-making skills
