Our client builds powerful GIS software that helps telecommunications operators, utilities, and public sector organizations design, manage, and operate complex networks and infrastructure. Their products are used globally and integrate with leading mapping platforms, with a dedicated telecommunications business unit focused on helping fiber and telecom operators plan, document, and run their networks more efficiently across the full network lifecycle. For a motivated self-starter who wants to build a strong foundation in enterprise software sales within a global company, this is the right seat.
Position Responsibilities
- Follow up on inbound leads from campaigns, events, and webinars in a timely and structured manner, qualifying opportunities and routing them to the appropriate Account Manager or partner.
- Proactively identify and engage net-new telecom prospects through outbound outreach via email, phone, and social channels.
- Research target telecommunications operators, service providers, and relevant decision-makers to inform and personalize outreach.
- Develop a strong understanding of prospect needs and challenges related to fiber network planning, documentation, and operations.
- Schedule next steps and handoffs to the sales team, ensuring a smooth transition from qualified opportunity to active pipeline.
- Maintain accurate and current records in CRM and sales engagement systems to support pipeline visibility and forecasting.
- Use tools such as Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and data enrichment platforms to execute and track outreach activity.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product teams to continuously refine outreach messaging, targeting, and campaign support.
Position Qualifications
Required:
- A track record of consistent, organized outreach activity in a Business Development, Sales Development, or Lead Generation role, ideally within B2B or software sales.
- Strong written and spoken communication skills in English, with comfort engaging prospects through outbound outreach and structured follow-up.

- Experience using CRM and sales enablement tools such as Salesforce, Dynamics, NetSuite, Outreach, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- A curious, self-starting mindset with genuine motivation to learn a technical product and the industry it serves.
Preferred:
