As they scale across Southern California, they’re seeking a Sales Manager to help operationalize their sales processes and expand their referral-driven growth strategy.
Position Overview
This is a high-impact opportunity to step into a critical role as the company enters a new phase of growth. You’ll work directly with the CEO to refine and systematize an already-successful sales model—bringing structure, repeatability, and scale to a fast-moving business. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building relationships, closing business, and creating process around what works. Your contributions will drive measurable growth and position you as a strategic partner in the firm’s continued expansion across Southern California.
Location & Compensation
Location: Los Angeles Area for in-person meetings with partners & clients, but work from home
Compensation: base + commission; $100-130k+ OTE W2
Position Responsibilities
- Partner with the CEO to enhance and operationalize the company’s sales approach
- Drive new business through self-sourced deals—no reliance on carrier leads or inbound requests
- Build and strengthen referral pipelines through strategic relationships with water mitigation and restoration vendors
- Refine and document sales processes to enable repeatability and future training
- Analyze sales performance and vendor data to optimize outreach strategies and relationship-building efforts
- Serve as a trusted external face of the business, cultivating long-term vendor and partner relationships
- Stay close to the field, understanding industry dynamics and translating insights into actionable improvements
- Contribute to broader business conversations on scaling, service delivery, and operational efficiency
Position Qualifications
Required:
- Strong track record of independently generating and closing B2B sales
- 3–5 years of experience in water mitigation, restoration, or public insurance adjusting
- Demonstrated success building referral partnerships and growing accounts from the ground up
- Hands-on knowledge of the residential insurance claims process
- Process-oriented mindset with experience refining or scaling existing sales systems
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to earn trust quickly
- Self-starter who thrives in fast-paced, high-autonomy environments
Preferred:
- Familiarity with CRMs such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Existing vendor connections in the Southern California restoration or mitigation market
- Experience training or mentoring others in a sales environment
- Strategic thinker who enjoys turning insight into repeatable process
