About Dan

Dan Murphy is Director of Client Engagement at Talentfoot, where he partners with hiring managers, HR leaders, private equity sponsors, and C-suite executives to build high-performance teams that accelerate growth, unlock innovation, and strengthen profitability.

Dan brings a rare blend of enterprise advisory, technology recruitment, and revenue leadership experience. He began his career leading a top-performing branch at Enterprise Holdings before moving into technology search and RPO leadership, where he helped expand new markets and deliver senior-level hiring solutions for Fortune 500 and high-growth organizations. He later joined PwC’s M&A Advisory practice, helping lead IT separation and carve-out initiatives up to $108M in value, deepening his understanding of enterprise transformation and the leadership talent required to execute it.

Today, Dan helps clients recruit forward-thinking leaders who align with their growth thesis and stage of scale. His experience across SaaS, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, healthcare technology, financial services, and M&A-driven environments allows him to quickly assess organizational gaps and architect search strategies grounded in rigor and measurable outcomes.

He has led RPO initiatives delivering 20+ senior technology placements during critical growth phases, executed 50+ placements across enterprise environments, and consistently exceeded revenue targets throughout his career. Clients value his commercial acumen, executive presence, and ability to translate technical complexity into business impact.
