Industrial Sales Representative

For more than 40 years, our client has built a national reputation for quality in commercial and industrial services, serving manufacturing plants, food and beverage processors, warehouses, cold storage, and facilities across the country. A woman-owned, family-run business, the company is known for strong ethics, a serious commitment to safety, and long-term client relationships, with a team-first culture that rewards people who do what they say they will do. Now investing in the growth of its industrial services line, the company is looking for an Industrial Outside Sales Representative to help lead that expansion across Texas and Louisiana.

Position Overview

This is a rare opportunity to help shape a growing industrial services line rather than step into a fixed, pre-built territory. First, the role comes with a guaranteed first year of earnings, giving you room to build momentum before moving into a performance-based model with uncapped commission tied to gross profit. Second, you will own a field territory spanning Houston, DFW, and Louisiana, with the autonomy to open doors, win new accounts, and cross-sell a full range of services within a single facility. Third, you will work closely with senior sales leadership and a dedicated mentor, which gives you real visibility with the people driving the company’s growth and a clear path to grow your earnings and influence over time. A company vehicle is provided, and your results here will directly fuel the company’s next stage of expansion.

Position Responsibilities

  • Prospect, open doors, and win new accounts across manufacturing, food and beverage processing, water and wastewater, petroleum and storage, agriculture, warehousing, and cold storage facilities, building a pipeline that supports the company’s growth goals.
  • Call on maintenance managers, facility managers, and general contractors to understand their challenges and position the company’s services as a coordinated, single-source solution.
  • Cross-sell and upsell across industrial cleaning, sandblasting, dry ice and hydro cleaning, protective coatings, industrial and commercial painting, epoxy and industrial flooring, and concrete polishing to expand the value delivered at each facility.
  • Conduct site visits, capture accurate measurements and project details, and partner with the estimating team to deliver professional, accurate proposals on time.
  • Maintain disciplined follow-up on every open bid, working each opportunity to a clear decision while keeping Salesforce current with activity, pipeline, and forecast.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for your accounts, ensuring smooth handoffs to operations and strong client satisfaction through project delivery.
  • Build and work a weekly sales plan, using your network, industry groups, and events to create new relationships and opportunities.
  • Report pipeline, activity, and results in one-on-ones with the National Sales Manager and in team meetings, contributing to an accurate companywide forecast.

Position Qualifications

Required:

  • A proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets in a field sales role, including winning and growing new accounts.
  • A minimum of 3 years of B2B service sales experience in industrial or manufacturing markets.
  • Hands-on experience selling industrial services such as blasting, protective coatings, or industrial cleaning, with the credibility to advise maintenance and facilities buyers.
  • Established relationships across manufacturing, food and beverage, or industrial facilities, and the ability to turn them into opportunities quickly.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Excel, with comfort calling on plant managers, facility managers, maintenance leaders, and general contractors.

Preferred:

  • Industrial or commercial painting experience.
  • A humble, self-confident style=””>
