A consulting firm specializing in comprehensive services for nonprofit organizations and small businesses is seeking a Nonprofit Tax & Compliance Specialist to support its core service—990 tax filings for nonprofit organizations. Reporting to the Director of Nonprofit Services, you’ll play a crucial role in the Nonprofit Compliance team.
As the Nonprofit Tax & Compliance Specialist, your key responsibilities include assisting with various state filings, such as Charity Registrations, Income, and Sales Tax filings. As a vital member of the compliance team, you’ll collaborate with management and other specialists to ensure operational processes, workflows, and customer experiences run smoothly. Your strategic design of efficient operational strategies will meet key performance measures, providing dedicated service to clients.
This fully remote role requires a strong work ethic to handle multiple tasks, especially during tax season. Effective written and oral communication skills are essential for interactions with clients and staff members.
