Position Overview

As the HR Manager, you will oversee day-to-day human resources functions, including recruitment, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations, while also supporting leadership in driving employee engagement and professional development initiatives. Position Responsibilities
- Partner with leadership to execute HR and talent strategies focused on recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
- Provide guidance to management and staff on complex or sensitive HR issues, including accommodations, investigations, and terminations.
- Manage the talent acquisition process, including recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding for a range of roles.
- Collaborate with managers to identify skills and competencies required for open positions.
- Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; propose competitive programs to attract and retain top talent.
- Create and support professional development programs to promote employee growth.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; update policies and practices as needed.
- Support employee relations, including disciplinary actions, performance management, and investigations.
- Stay informed on HR best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies.
- Perform additional HR duties as required.
Position Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of HR management or equivalent experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS/talent management systems.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
Preferred:
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification.
- Experience supporting multi-office or multi-state organizations.
- Prior HR experience in a fast-paced, creative, or professional services environment.
